Crazy House by James Patterson / Book Discussion

I am a huge fan of James Patterson and have been reading his books for years. He is such an auto buy author. That being said, I’m hear to write a review for you guys!

summary- (from goodreads)

No one gets out alive.

Seventeen-year-old Becca Greenfield was snatched from her home and thrown without reazon into a hellish prison known as the Crazy House. To avoid execution, she’s told to shut her mouth and keep her head down.

Becca was never really good at either.

Her only hope for survival is for her sister, Cassie, to find her—that the “good twin” will stop following the rules and start breaking them, before it’s too late. Because the jailers at Crazy House soon discover they made a mistake that could get bothsisters killed…

I wanted to start off by saying that I really enjoyed this book. It was very unexpected because he doesn’t usually write in the dystopian theme, and It was extremely refreshing. That being said, it isn’t my favorite book of his but I still really enjoyed the story.

It was extremely fast pace and kept me entertained throughout the entire thing. I think that the main character, Becca, is extremely strong and adds lot of humor. Although, there were some flaws.

I found the character Cassie was extremely irritating and didn’t even try and help her sister at all. She was completely focused on trying to get a boyfriend, even though she was in a near death experiences and I just hate that so much.

Although, I really liked the relationship between Tim and Becca. It wasn’t too much romance, but It was enough to not annoy me.

The ending felt really short, and really wanted an update on Tim and it fell really short to me.

Overall, I really loved this book. Although it had it’s flaws, I would really recommend it.
